Common questions from international buyers — about shipping, customs, payment modes, warranty, and what to expect when ordering from Japan.
Shipping & Delivery
What are the shipping charges to the United States?
The shipping fee to the USA is approximately USD 600 for one regular-sized machine. Larger machines with protruding parts (statues, panels) may incur an additional fee. Multiple-machine orders ship at a discount per unit.
How much does shipping cost to other countries?
Approximate per-machine shipping fees by region:
- Asia: USD 500
- North America: USD 600
- Europe: USD 700
- Oceania: USD 900
- Middle East: USD 1,500
- Africa: USD 1,559
- South America: USD 1,700
- Central America: USD 1,700
- Other regions: USD 1,550 (ask for exact quote)
See the full shipping fee page for delivery times and exceptions.
How many days does delivery take?
Typical door-to-door delivery times:
- USA / North America: 15-20 days
- Europe: 15-25 days
- Asia: 10-15 days
- Oceania / Middle East / Africa / S. America: 20-30 days
We send the tracking number by email as soon as customs procedures begin.
Sea freight or air freight?
Standard individual orders ship via sea freight in professionally-crated boxes. For urgent or large bulk orders we can arrange air freight (FedEx) — please ask for an air-freight quote at checkout.
Why are some machines listed with higher shipping fees?
Machines with large protruding parts — character statues mounted on top, oversized side panels, etc. — require special crating or separate boxes. The surcharge is usually already included in the displayed price. If we discover additional shipping is needed after order, we contact you by email before charging.
I ordered 2+ machines — do I pay full shipping per machine?
No. Multiple machines shipped in one consolidated crate cost significantly less per unit. If you overpay at checkout (we use the per-machine rate by default), we refund the difference immediately. No action needed from you — we calculate and adjust automatically.
What about additional shipping for add-ons / peripherals?
If you order add-ons (parts, RFID modules, etc.) together with a machine and they fit in the same crate, additional shipping is usually free. If they need a separate box, or if you order add-ons by themselves, shipping is charged based on weight.
When will I get my tracking number?
Your tracking number is emailed as soon as the airport/port export procedures complete. From order to shipping is typically within 3-4 weeks (the machine goes through full overhaul and packaging before leaving our warehouse).
Customs & Documents
What about customs duties and import taxes?
Customs duties are the buyer's responsibility and vary by country:
- USA: most home-use imports clear without duty under de minimis thresholds; larger shipments may have 2-5%
- EU / UK: VAT 20-25% applies
- Australia / NZ: GST 10-15% on imports above the threshold
- Canada: GST/PST varies by province
Check with your local customs office for exact rates, or refer to FedEx International Resource Center.
Do I need an invoice for customs clearance?
Yes, most countries require a commercial invoice. We provide one with your shipment — please present it to your local customs broker if requested.
Machine Condition & Warranty
Are the machines maintained / inspected before shipping?
Yes. Every machine goes through a full overhaul before shipping: disassembly, deep cleaning, parts replacement, electrical and mechanical testing, then careful crating. We ensure every part is working before the machine leaves our warehouse.
What's the warranty?
For overseas customers, machines come with a 7-day arrival warranty: free repair (parts & labor) within 7 days of delivery if anything is wrong. After 7 days, paid repair service is available, plus lifetime free English-language remote troubleshooting via email and Facebook Messenger.
We keep the window short because international return shipping is prohibitively expensive — our pre-shipment inspection is rigorous, and 99% of machines arrive in perfect working order.
Do you provide a manual?
Yes — every machine ships with a basic English-language manual covering setup, mode switching (coin-less ↔ real-coin), and common operations.
How are machines packaged for safe shipping?
We use professional crating with internal padding and bracing designed for international sea freight. See our packaging process in this blog post.
How the Machines Work — Coin-less vs Real Coin
How do I play — with coins, or coin-less?
It depends on the machine type. Traditional pachislot ships with our Silver coin-less unit pre-installed: press the 1BET or Settlement button to add credits (short press = 1 credit, long press fills credits to 50). The Silver unit is connector-based, so you can unplug it at any time to reconnect the original medal-slot connector and play with real medals. Smart Pachislot (スマスロ) and Smart Pachinko (スマパチ) are coin-less by factory design — no unit needed. Traditional pachinko ships with 30 steel balls and plays with real balls; the optional A-Controller can simulate ball insertion via signal if you prefer fully ball-less play.
See our complete coin-feeder spec and pachinko ball setup guide for full details.
Can I play with real balls / medals at home?
Yes. Traditional pachislot: unplug the Silver coin-less unit and reconnect the original medal-slot connector — your machine accepts real Japanese medals (sold separately, also available on eBay). Traditional pachinko: machines ship with 30 steel balls. For hall-like sessions plan for 10,000+ balls — we recommend buying additional balls on eBay from a domestic seller (shipping pachinko balls internationally is expensive because of their weight). Real-coin/ball mode is louder than coin-less, so think about your space.
(Circulation Ball Lifter shown in second video is sold separately for ball-handling automation.)
What's the difference between Smart Pachinko/Pachislot and Traditional?
Smart Pachinko (スマパチ) and Smart Pachislot (スマスロ) are Japan's new generation (2022+) — fully credit-based, no physical balls or medals, faster gameplay, bigger payouts. They're what you'll see in any modern Japanese arcade today.
Traditional Pachinko and Pachislot use physical balls/medals and have a more classic feel.
